Snow storm hits Kincardine area Sunday afternoon
Residents of Kincardine and area woke up to spring, Sunday morning, but by the afternoon, winter had returned with a vengeance.

A major snowstorm hit, bringing high wind, heavy snowfall, and colder temperatures. With the windchill, it felt more like minus 16 degrees Celsius.

The snow squalls are expected to continue for the next two days, easing up by Wednesday.

The South Bruce OPP has closed Highway 21 between Port Elgin and Southampton due to blowing and drifting snow.
