THANK YOU

THANK YOU – THOMPSON - The family of the late Murray Thompson extends their gratitude to the community, family, and friends who have supported them over the past eight weeks. For the many kind and loving messages, gifts of food, and support offered and provided in so many other ways. We thank the South Bruce Grey Health Centre hospital staff for all of the support they provided in caring for Murray, as well as the many doctors who supported him through this journey. The bedside nurses who provided such incredibly good care, gave him so much assurance, and a good laugh here and there. We thank the home care nursing staff for their support when he was at home. To all of the staff at Huron Shores Hospice, as always, your care was second to none. We are so grateful for your support at a time when we really needed it. Thanks to MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home for bringing ease to this difficult time. We thank Rev. Wonder and his family for the incredible service and extra guidance through his final weeks. Special thank you to Patt Lowry for the special music that was so fitting for Murray. - The Family of Murray Thompson

THANK YOU – KIRKCONNELL - The family of Marjorie Kirkconnell would like to express their thanks to our relatives, friends and our community for all their kind words of condolence at the loss of our mother. For those who sent flowers, donated to a charity in Marj’s name, and to The Bruce Inn for catering the food, please accept our heartfelt thanks. To Trillium Court staff for their care of mom, you made her end of life, one of grace and peace; thank you to Dr. Gary Gurbin and his staff for home visits and the continuing care of a former hospital staff member; to Trish and staff at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home offering great direction for mom’s service and what one could expect after losing a loved one, for this we thank you. To Mike, Jerry and John for their musical accompaniment during the service, mom would have loved it, what a touch! Pastor Rob McFadden who provided a consoling voice in a time of sadness, sharing his interesting stories of past conversations with mother, thank you. Marjorie Kirkconnell was proud in numerous ways. Mom was extremely proud of her family, the friendships she made, her working career and the community that she lived in and contributed to. “We shall not look upon her like again” - Dennis, Betty, Brad and Nancy
