John Albert Kesteloot of Kincardine died peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Friday, March 3, 2017, in his 83rd year. Cherished husband of Mary Kesteloot (née Lava) for more than 56 wonderful years. Loving father of Debbie Kesteloot of Kincardine, Sandra (Tom) Wilson of Kincardine, and Karen Kesteloot of Guelph. Missed by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Julius (Mary) Kesteloot of Aylmer, and Christine (Paul) Vanbree of Forest. Predeceased by sister, Diane Kesteloot. John was a strong proponent of the Ontario Senior Games for people aged 55-plus, and worked for years to promote those games in Kincardine, and at the district and provincial levels, serving as provincial chairman. He also liked playing cards, particularly bid-euchre, and gardening. Private funeral arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine. Memorial donations to the Canadian Red Cross Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
