NICHOLAS STANLEY WOOD
May 23, 2025
Nicholas Stanley Wood of Hanover died unexpectedly, as a result of a workplace accident, Friday, May 23, 2025. He was 37. Beloved father of Mason and Camryn and dear son of Christine. Nicholas will be missed by his aunts, Jennifer (John) Webb of Kincardine and Margaret (Kevin) Breen of Florida; cousins, Natalie (Joe), Rachel, Vanessa (Mike), Jordan (Rebecca), and their children, Blake, Nolan, Owen, Levi, and Riley. Predeceased by his grandparents, Stanley and Joan Wood. Nicholas loved spending time with his children, riding their dirt bikes or playing outside around the property. He loved the outdoors and country life. An avid hunter, he especially loved turkey-hunting, and he looked forward to taking Mason and Camryn hunting in the future. He also enjoyed Air Soft in his spare time. He always took pride in his jobs and had a good work ethic. In his teens, he was an Army Cadet and a member of the Forest Pipe Band. Occasionally, he participated in the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band Massed Band parade. Nicholas was easily loved by those who met him and knew him, and he had very strong and loyal friendships in all aspects of his life. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. until the funeral at 11 a.m., at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine. A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 p.m., at Nicholas and Christine’s home.
