Jamieson “Jamie” Francis Hunter of Malcolm Place, Kincardine, died suddenly, Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at the age of 77. Loving father of Milena Hunter (Mike Avarell) and Allie Hunter. Missed by his grandchildren, Graedon and Mara Avarell. Fondly remembered by his siblings, John (Betty) Hunter, Charles (Judie) Hunter, Rodger (Virginia) Hunter, and Mary Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Allan and Catherine (née Bell) Hunter; sister, Janice Morris; and brother-in-law, Bill Campbell. Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 7-9 p.m., and continues Friday, June 2, from 12:30-1:30 p.m., followed by the funeral celebrating Jamie’s life, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Lynda Janzen officiating. Memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation or Paddy Walker Heritage Society, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
