It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of our beloved Mom, Elizabeth "Betty" Wolfenden, after a courageous battle for life, Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the Kincardine hospital, surrounded by family. She was 87. Beloved wife of the late Geoffrey (1971). Loving mother of Philip (Betsy), Bob (Donna) and Dave (Mimi). Cherished Grandma of Geoffrey, Chris, Danielle, Lindsay, Matthew, Krista, Elizabeth, Theo, Jessica, Hilary and Max; and nine great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Betty Monk; and cousins, John and Sarah West of England. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, Monday, June 12, from 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel, Tuesday, June 13, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held in her hometown of Kincardine, Sunday, June 25, from 1-3 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion, Kincardine.
