Raymond “Ray” Percival Murray of Kincardine died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, in his 90th year. Cherished husband of Gladys “Benny” Murray (née MacGregor) of Kincardine. Loving father of Shirley Crossley of Kincardine, Sharon (Chris) McGarvey of Kincardine, and Brian Murray of Dorset. Dear grandfather of Michael (Katrina), Daniel (Krista), Ryan (Carolyn), Andrew, Patrick, Courtney, and Liam; and great-grandfather of Olivia, Brooke, Kate and Paisley. Missed by his sister, Edna Williams of London; sisters-in-law, Marion MacLeod, Shirley Colquhoun, and June McGregor; and brother-in-law, Sam (Joan) MacGregor, all of Kincardine. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Edith Murray; sisters, Eileen (Stan) Wagner, and Edith (Henry) Epp; daughter-in-law, Tammi Keggenhoff; and brother-in-law, Bud Williams. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Ken Craig officiating. Interment, Ripley Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
