A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Blackhorse Golf and Country Resort, 1436 Bruce County Road 1, east of Kincardine and north of Lucknow. John's fantastic photography will be on display during the celebration and everyone is encouraged to contribute if they have anything of his. There will be a memorial tree planted in his honour, along with a bench and plaque at his favourite spot, but this may not happen on that day. The course will be open if anyone would like to join in a round of golf afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
