Cyril “Cy” Parkinson, of Kincardine, died at the Wingham and District Hospital, Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Veronica “Vera” Josephine Parkinson (née Kelly). Cherished father of Kelly (Brad) Scheel of Kincardine, and the late Linda Coughlan (2013). Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Ben Scheel (Sarah), Rachel Scheel (Dalton), Chris (Jodi) Coughlan, and Tara Coughlan; and great-grandchildren, Samantha and Riley. Missed by several nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Parkinson (née Turner); and brothers, Don Parkinson and Jack (Marjorie) Parkinson. Family was absolutely everything to Cy, and he was always there to help those in need. He was also a long-time member of the Masons. A graveside service will take place at the Kincardine Cemetery in the spring of 2018, and will be announced at a later date.
