Jessie Kathleen Helm (née Ritchie) of Kincardine, died at her home surrounded by family, Monday, Jan. 1, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Wilfred Helm for more than 63 years. Missed dearly by her children, Richard (Joan) Helm of Milton, Kay (Steve) Fitzpatrick of Kitchener, Barb (Tom) Reid of Kincardine, Shirley (Dennis) Prosser of Peterborough, Kevin (Jolene Innes) Helm of Mitchell, and Randy (Kim) Helm of Waterloo. Dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Remembered lovingly by her sister, Mildred (John) Clark of Durham; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Ritchie of Kincardine; and missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Emil and Annie (née Dunlop) Ritchie; brothers, Leonard and Harvey Ritchie; sisters, Georgia (Raymond) Mitchell and Marion (Orville) Fitzgerald. Visitation will take place at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel, with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated as expression of sympathy.
