Robert “Bob” Kenneth Rutledge of Ripley died Friday, May 4, 2018, at the Kincardine Hospital. He was 86. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Rutledge (Mead) who predeceased him in 2014. Born in Kincardine, July 17, 1931, he was the son of the late Frances (Harrison) and George Rutledge. Bob will be dearly missed by his children, Bill (Colleen) Rutledge of Ripley, Dawna Rutledge of Fergus, Gary (Anita) Rutledge of Ripley, and Vicki (Jeff) Czywczynski of North Dakota. Cherished Papa of Cassandra Robert (Alex Rimpilainen), Carson Rutledge, Tyson Rutledge, Skylar Rutledge and Serena Rutledge, all of Ripley. Survived by his brother, Allan (Eleanor) Rutledge of Kincardine; and sister-in-law, Bev Peterbaugh of Ripley. Predeceased by his sister-in-law, Gay Rutledge; and an infant son. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at the Pine River United Church, from Noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Interment, Ripley Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
