Maurice “Moe” Cotter, formerly of Kincardine, died at Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow, June 19, 2018, at age 72. Born Aug. 8, 1945, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Jean Elizabeth Cotter, and moved to Kincardine in 1983. Maurice was incredibly fond of Kincardine and loved to cheer on the hometown teams at the ball diamond and hockey rink. He was a frequent visitor to Tim Hortons and the Ice Cream Shack, and enjoyed taking long walks around town and people-watching in his front yard. He will be greatly missed by his friends, former roommates and Community Living Kincardine staff. Community Living of Kincardine and District invites everyone to a Celebration of Moe's Life at the Lighthouse Fellowship Baptist Church, 83 Mahood-Johnston Drive, Kincardine, at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2018. Interment, Chesley Cemetery. Memorial donations to Community Living of Kincardine and District would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
