Gwendaline “Wendy” Ann Jones, of Kincardine, died Aug. 22, 2018, in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Hugh Jones. Loving mother of Adam (Tanya) Jones of Palmerston and Ben Jones (Yulia Slipenchuck) of Kincardine. Missed by her grandchildren, Charity, Felix, Yana, and Sonya. Dear sister of Judy (David) Feenstra of London, and Bill (Marie) Reed of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents, William and Doreen Reed. Wendy was a wonderful, friendly, hard-working volunteer, helping out in particular with the Kincardine Food Bank. She also enjoyed sports, and was a player on the Scared Hitless senior ladies ball team. The memorial service will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at 11 a.m., with Ann Maycock presiding. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to Sick Kids Foundation – Toronto, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
