Murray Allison Culbert of Ripley died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at the Kincardine Hospital, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Mary Culbert (Macpherson) for 63 years. Loving father of Helen Orr (Dale) of Kincardine, Paul (Ethel) of Woodbridge, and Ian (Gilles, Justin and Nadia) of Oxford Mills. Cherished grandfather of Nolan, Brendan, and Matthew. A native of Huron Township, Murray will be fondly remembered by friends and neighbours for his willingness to always lend a hand, his laugh, and his love of curling, golf, and playing cards. Visitation will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 1 James Street, Ripley, Monday, Sept. 10, 2018, from 10-11:45 a.m., followed by the funeral at 12 p.m. Friends are invited to a reception at the Ripley-Huron Legion following the funeral service. A private internment ceremony will be held at the Ripley-Huron Cemetery. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers, should be made to St. Andrew’s United Church, Ripley, or the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation.
