Shirley Pauline Quipp (née Coghlin) of Tiverton, died suddenly, Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Jim Quipp. Cherished mother of Mike (Vicky) Quipp of Tiverton and Kelly (Jim) Robertson of Kincardine Township. Lovingly known as GMA to her grandchildren, Jordan (Kori) Quipp, Brittany Quipp, Morgan Robertson and Bradley Robertson. Proud great-grandmother of Arya Quipp. Missed by her sister, Sharon (Gary) Evans. Predeceased by her husband, Jim Quipp; and parents Cliff and Elva Coghlin. Shirley will be remembered by many friends and extended family as a very social person who loved to dance and play cards and who would always have a set of dice close by. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral to celebrate Shirley’s life will take place Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. Final resting place, Tiverton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
