William “Bill” Ewart Tennyson of Tiverton, died suddenly at his home, “The Baie,” Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Marjorie Jean (née McIntosh) for more than 52 years. Fondly remembered by his sister, Flora Tennyson. Loving father of Bill (Nanette) of Underwood, Cheryl (George) Jackson of Angus, and Marcia (Cameron) Kirk of Tiverton. Dear grandfather of his little turkeys, Christina (Zach), Heather (Nathan), Sarah, Kelsey (Ben), Devon (Courtney) and Marlee; and great-grandson, Ethan. Also missed by Joyce and Ron Tout, and Norm and Janette McIntosh; as well as his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Annabelle and Ewart Tennyson; and his two sisters, Wanda and Sylvia. Bill will be fondly remembered by those who knew him, as having a fun-loving personality with a quick wit, and a caring man who loved tinkering in the shop and having visits with his grandkids. At his request, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
