BARBARA DAWN McINNIS (DANIEL)

Barbara Dawn McInnis (Daniel) of Kincardine died Dec. 23, 2018, at the age of 85, joining her beloved husband, Bruce, who died Nov. 30, 2017. Lovingly remembered by her children, Vicky (Mike Hansen), John (Karen Keenan) and Elizabeth Maccabe (Scott); her grandchildren, Erika, Laurel, Elise, and Justin; her brother. Jim; cousin, Margaret; sisters-in-law, June, Marian, Shirley (Balfour), and Doreen; and many other family members and friends. Barb was devoted to family and to her hometown of Kincardine, spending glorious summers at the cottage on the lake. During her teaching years, she particularly enjoyed helping students from disadvantaged circumstances, finding something positive to say in every report card - “He is a really fast runner,” is an example of a desperate effort. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, from 1-1:30 p.m. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m., followed by light refreshments in the Davey-Linklater Lounge. Interment Kincardine Cemetery. If the weather is inclement, we encourage people to think of Barb instead of driving to attend. Memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
