Margaret "Lois" Pollock of Ripley died at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, Dec. 29, 2018, at the age 90. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Pollock who predeceased her in 1995. Born June 24, 1928, in Huron Township, Lois was the daughter of the late Catherine Bell and Howell Fraser. Dear mother of Keith (Kerri) Pollock of Ripley, Barry of Toronto, and Connie Hutchinson of Ripley. Cherished grandmother of Lisa (John) Wong of Toronto, Marie (Matt) Gareau of Guelph, Nicole Collins of Edmonton, and Matt Pollock of Guelph. Also fondly remembered by her in-laws, Wally and Elaine Pollock, and Lucille Fischer. Predeceased by her daughter, Jane (1967); and her brothers and their wives, Grant and Beryl Fraser, and Glen and Kay Fraser, as well as her sister, Fern, and husband, Harold Pollock. Lois was co-owner of Pollock Electric in Ripley, and worked there until she retired. She enjoyed playing bridge, both here and in Florida; she was a life member and past-president of the Ripley Legion Ladies' Auxiliary; and she loved playing cards and crokinole with her grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, from 1-1:30 p.m., at St. Andrew’s United Church, Ripley. The Celebration of Lois’s Life will follow at 1:30 p.m., at the church, with Marsha Roberts officiating, and Jennifer McCallum as organist. Interment, Ripley Cemetery.
