Joyce Lillian Morrison (nee Mitchell) of Kincardine died peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Reginald Wilson Morrison who predeceased her in 2012. Loving and devoted mother of Robert and Norman (Angelita), both of Kingston; and William (Andrea Zimmer) of Kincardine. Affectionately known as "Grandma" to Michael (Anna) and Erika Morrison. Predeceased by her parents, Bruce and Luella (nee Grimshaw) Mitchell. The family extends sincere gratitude to all the staff at Trillium Court Seniors' Community, Kincardine, for the exemplary care and compassion provided to Joyce. Family and friends were received at the James Reid Funeral Home, Kingston, Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. The funeral was held Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 in the chapel, with Rev. Susan McAllister officiating. Following the interment at Cataraqui Cemetery, all were welcome to the James Reid Reception Centre for light refreshments provided by the Princess Street United Church Women. As expression of sympathy, donations made to the Alzheimer Society or the Princess Street United Church Memorial Fund, would be appreciated by the family.
