Dorothea Mae MacLeod (née Alton) of Kincardine, died at Trillium Court, Kincardine, Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, in her 99th year. Cherished mother of David (Arlene) of Bancroft, Donald (Nicole) of Mount Brydges, Douglas (Shirley) of Paisley, Carolyn Grice of London, and Ken (Donna) of Ripley. Predeceased by her daughters, Betty Ricchio, Jean Carson, and Alice Rae; former spouse, Johnston MacLeod; and brothers Clayton, Alvin (Madeline). Loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Missed by son-in-law, Ormand Rae; and sister-in-law, Lois Alton. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, from 10-11 a.m. The service to celebrate Dorothea’s life will follow at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Ray Richards officiating. Final resting place, Dungannon Cemetery. Memorial donations to Gideons International in Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
