Danny MacDonald died peacefully, with his family by his side, Friday, March 22, 2019, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Una (nee Roberts) MacDonald of 43 years. Loving father of Matthew (Michelle) and Nicholas (Claire). Cherished Papa of his grandsons, Nolan and Garrett. Brother of Clarke (Pat), Bob (Susan), and Perry; and brother-in-law of Jane Ann. Predeceased by his parents, Jim and Marie MacDonald; and brother, Paul MacDonald. He is missed by many friends and family. Dan lived life to its fullest and spent his time curling, golfing, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was a dedicated family man and husband; a loving father and grandfather. He also served his community of Ripley as a volunteer firefighter for more than 25 years, and was an active member of the Ripley and District Lions Club. He loved to travel and enjoyed time with family and friends. He especially cherished quality time with his adored grandsons. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 1-5 p.m., at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre. The family appreciates all condolences and thoughtful messages.
