With family by his side, James Phillips Millar (born Sept. 30, 1931) died at the Kincardine hospital, Sept. 11, 2019, in his 87th year. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret Millar. Survived by his partner, Mary Wilkinson. Cherished father of Adam (Susan) Millar, Davina Palmer, Elizabeth (Gary) Latta, and Maggie (Chris Lee) Messenger. Proud grandfather of Mitch (Danielle) and Tracey Millar, Dave (Stacey), Gord (Ashley), Steve (Meaghan) and Charles (Angelia) Palmer, Jimmy (Carol), Jeffrey and Michael Latta, and Ryan and Nathan Messenger. Great-grandfather of Koby, Abigail, Gaige, Blake, Ivy, Alice, Rowan, Sheamus, Grace and Finn; and his "wee puppy dog," Puffs. Survived by siblings, Charles (Janet), Edith (Ken), and Elizabeth (George); and many other relatives 'on the other side of the pond.' Jim always looked for the positives and enjoyed the outdoors and nature. He was always thinking, always tinkering, and enjoyed having guests. His thick Scottish accent and comedic nature were loved by many and will be missed dearly. A service will be held at a date to be determined. Special thanks to the staff at the Kincardine hospital.
