Ken Robinson (1950-2019) of Underwood died peacefully in the wee hours of Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Carole (Brown) Robinson for 43 years. Ken was an automotive technician at McMann's Garage in Underwood for 44 years and was proud to have worked for four generations. He proudly wore the title "Resident Old Fart." He loved working on tractors for his many friends and family, and in recent years, enjoyed his wood-working shop where he built some beautiful pieces of furniture for family and friends. Besides his wife, he is survived by his his brothers-in-law, Ted Brown (Brenda), Brian Brown (Sue), and Don Brown (Carol), and their families. He was a special uncle/dad to Anne-Marie and Daryll Gomes, James and Rowana Brown, Dave and Tara Brown, Lisa and Jerry Remillard, Stacey Brown, Tara and Richard Phillips, and Candice White. Loving and proud grandpa of Danielle, Stephanie, Justin, Abi, Josiah, Naomi, Hannah, Meredith and Sam; and great-grandpa of Joshua. Also missed by nieces and nephews, Chris and Marianne and family, Rebecca and Chris and family, Judy and Jason and family, Jeremy Brown and Joshua Brown, as well as his brother, Wayne; sisters, Mary, Roselene, Tracey, and Kerry Lynn; and many cousins. He will be forever missed by his many friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Eileen (Glover) Robinson; Stanley and Miriam (Phinemore) Brown; brother-in-law, Doug Brown; and sister-in-law, Susan Brown. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ken's life will be held Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, from 1-4 p.m., at the Underwood Community Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
