Dorothy Woods (née Bonnett) of Kincardine, died peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, in her 96th year. Cherished wife of the late Wallace Woods (1991). Dorothy was the loving mother of Ed (Jeanie) Woods of RR1, Tiverton, Donald (Joyce) Woods of Kincardine, Garry (Cathy McLelland) Woods of Armow, Bruce (Carol) Woods of Lorne Beach, and Ruth Woods (Dennis Grummett) of Kincardine. Dear grandmother of Wade, Troy, Chad, April, Daryl, Shawn, Michelle, Sonya, Cory, Kelly, Alicia, and Kent. Loved by 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many step great-grandchildren. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Tomas and Mabel Bonnett (née Jackson); brothers, Bob, Charlie, Tom (Alice), and Jim; and sisters, Emma (Oscer) Husk, Lotte (Norm) Erb, and Verna (Austin) Woods; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Berndt Woods. Visitation will take place at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating. Dorothy will be buried next to her husband at the Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to St Matthew's Anglican Church (Kingarf), the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
