Fredrick (Fred) Thomas Ricketts of Kincardine, died peacefully at the South Bruce Health Centre, Kincardine, Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at the age of 66. Loving brother of Cathy (Dave) Quinn of Kincardine, Robert (Sharon) Ricketts of London, and Fran (Stan) Oag. Forever remembered by his nephew, David (Mari) Quinn of England; and nieces, Christina (Greg) Jenkins of Durham, and Caron (Jeff) Macpherson of Wingham. Greatly missed by great nieces, Rebecca, Rachelle, Emily, Kayly; and great-nephew, Joshua; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Luella (née Hall) Ricketts. Fredrick (Fred) was born in Wiarton, Sept. 19, 1953. He spent his life working in construction, at Timber Mart, and for the past few years as a local handyman in Kincardine. He was a devoted dog dad to Sadie (predeceased) and was an avid reader and movie-watcher. Fred loved spending time with his family and reminiscing about the good times. Family and friends will truly miss him. Cremation has taken place. In honour of Fred, a private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
