William Douglas Stewart (Doug/Bart) Black of Kincardine, well-known Kincardine businessman and owner of Auto Electric West, died peacefully, Oct. 1, 2020, at Huron Shores Hospice, with family at his side. He was 76. Greatly missed by his siblings, Beverly Pollock (Wayne), Richard (Sandy), Robert, Tom (Karen), and Ralph (Caroline). Loving uncle of Margaret Pollard, Sandi Alteri (Sergio), Steven Pollock (Jennifer), Andrew Pollock, Matthew, Shane (Jessica), Lindsay and Samantha (Joel); nine great-nieces and -nephews; and three great-great-niece and -nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Eileen Black. Doug was a long-time member of the Grey Bruce Motorcycle Touring Club, doing many cross-country trips and toy rides. He was an honourary member of the Kincardine Nimrod Club, and long-time supporter of the Kincardine Bulldogs. He was a kind and gentle soul who touched many lives through his various interests. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
