John (Bud) Rothwell died at Trillium Court Seniors' Community, Kincardine, Monday, Nov. 2, 2020, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Jane (Hunter). Cherished father of Jamie (Toula) of Vancouver and Jocelyn (John) Piersol of Etobicoke. Loving grandfather of Isabella and Lily Piersol. Fondly remembered by his siblings, Ron (Anita) and Sharon (Claude) Bernard. Dear friend of Angela Rothwell; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Percy and Kathleen (Richardson); and siblings, George (Shirley), Herb (Shirley) and June (Claude) Gregg. Bud dearly loved his family, his dogs and spending time at the cottage. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Thank you to the staff at Trillium Court for the care and kindness toward Bud.
