Dear dad of Allyson and Mike Cowan, Jason and Kendra, Rob and Sherri, and an infant daughter who predeceased him. His love for things to go did not stop there, as he enjoyed motorcycles and continued to work on his dad's small engines. Summer fun included boating and fishing. His gun collection came in handy for the hunting season. Summer vacations in the north made many memories for him and his family. Many a party saw him share his talent of music - singing and playing his guitar. He worked at Bruce Power for 30 years. At Otsbek Manor, he worked as the "handy man" for 13 years. He went above and beyond to meet all of the residents' needs and was everyone's friend. Barry loved to spend time with his own family and grandchildren. Indeed, he was truly a very willing helper for family and friends and will be missed very much. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private arrangements have been made.
