William “Bill” Wilfred Turvill (Mr. T.) of Kincardine, died peacefully, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, with his daughters holding his hands, at Victoria Hospital, London, following a short illness. He was 84. Sadly missed by his son, Bill Jr., and daughter-in-law, Nancy; daughter, Gwenna; and daughter, Janice, and son-in-law, Randy. Loved and missed by his grandchildren, Jenny (Mike), Blake, Liz (Luke), Claire (Matt), Rebecca, Sawyer and Molly (Dylan); and great-grandsons, Landon and Leo (predeceased). Predeceased by his parents, William Wilfred Turvill Sr. and Muriel Kathleen Turvill (née Harvey). Bill was an exceptional card-player, a pretty good golfer, a loyal Probus member and a wonderful friend to many. Principal of RDSS, RDS and KDSS, a police commissioner for the Town of Kincardine, teacher of ESL and a counsellor, Bill had colourful careers. He was a devout member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine. Special thanks to the staff of The Village of Glendale Crossing, London, (especially the Glanworth neighbourhood) for their care and compassion during his final few months.
