Evan Keith Tufford, died peacefully at Hill Top Manor in Cambridge, July 2, 2021, in his 69th year. The fourth child born to Jack and Rita Tufford’s “Group of Seven” kids, he is the first one to depart from this world. He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his six siblings, Saundra Burns (Hadley), Jackie Bere (Bob Simpson), Paul Tufford (Debbie), Doug Tufford (Debbie), Jane Booker (Gord), and Leah Monsma (Ted); as well as several nieces and nephews. Evan and his family moved to Kincardine in 1967 and it remained a location that was near and dear to his heart. For the past several years, he has called Hill Top Manor in Cambridge his home, and his family is grateful for the kindness, care and compassion extended to him by the staff there, especially during the past difficult months of the COVID-19 pandemic, and at the time of his passing. A graveside service and interment will be held at the Kincardine Cemetery, Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Judy Zarubick officiating.
