Stan Gorski of Kincardine, died suddenly at his home on the evening of Jan. 31, 2022. He was 76. Born in Dortmund, Germany, Jan. 5, 1946, he was the son of Julia Gorska (nee Brzerinska) and Marian Gorski. He immigrated to Canada in 1950 and grew up in Timmins. He met his beloved wife, Caroline (nee Savidge), in Sudbury, and they were married May 14, 1970. Together, with their children, Amanda, Susan and Nancy, they moved to Kincardine in 1980. Stan retired from the lab at the Bruce Nuclear Power Development in 2007 to spend many happy hours fishing and cooking. Friends and family will always remember his love of jokes and his incredible sense of humour. His generous spirit will be greatly missed by the many school children who received his donations of books, toys and school supplies. Stan is deeply missed by his wife, daughters, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place.
