Jeffrey Joseph Austin of Dungannon died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, at the age of 60. Jeff (Hotdog) is lovingly remembered by his son, Terry; and grandson, Brody. Survived by his sisters, Darlene (Rick) Patterson, and Deb Robertson; and his brother, Mike (Ally) Austin. Missed by his nieces and nephews, Debbie Lynn (Steve), Kaitlyn, Curtis (Kylie), Courtney and Aidan; as well as great-niece, MacKenzie; and great-nephews, Tyson and Knox. Dearly missed by his best friend and partner, Donna Hall. Special and loving Pappa Jeff to Jennifer, Somarah and Liam Iles. Jeff also held a special place in his heart for Joan, Thane, Tammy and Amanda. Predeceased by his parents, Eldon and Mary (Finleon) Austin; brother-in-law, Bob Robertson; and partner, Deb Iles. Everyone who knew Jeff will miss his unique sense of humour and laid back nature. He was one-of-a-kind and lived his life authentically and unapologetically. “R.I.P., Hotdog. Your presence we will miss, and your memory we will treasure.” Following Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
