Beverly Bodfield (Caskenette) died peacefully, with her daughter by her side, at her residence at Trillium Court Seniors’ Community, Kincardine, Feb. 16, 2022, at the age of 81. A career banker, Beverly spent 45 years working for both the Bank of Nova Scotia and the Bank of Montreal in Sudbury; Surrey, B.C.; Acton and Kincardine. She was born in Preston but spent most of her life in her beloved Kincardine. Predeceased by her father, Engelbert; mother, Florence (Hockley); and sister, Marlene. She is survived by her daughter, Tina who, along with Beverly’s sheer strength of character, allowed her to triumph over many health challenges in her life. Beverly’s daughter thanks the wonderful staff at Trillium Court for the excellent care and compassion for Mummy while she resided there. Also, to Dr. Gary Gurbin and pharmacist Mike McKechnie, along with their staff, thanks for the many years of amazing care and guidance given to Mummy over the years. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral, and cremation has taken place. In memory of Beverly, take a walk on the beach, have a picnic, enjoy a laugh, have an ice cream cone and always tell the ones you love how much you love them.
