Nancy Holly Buckingham of Strathroy, formerly of Kincardine, ascended to Valhalla, June 8, 2022, in her 59th year, after a valiant six-year battle with cancer. Survived by her sisters, Pam and Jane (friend Steve); and brothers, Paul (LeighAnne) and Barry(Carol). Predeceased by her sister, Liz; and brother-in-law, Lorne. She leaves behind her best buddies, Pewter and Casper. Nancy was employed by the LCBO, first in Parkhill and then in Strathroy. She believed in customer service and enrolled in the Sommelier course at Fanshawe College, becoming the store wine expert. She was also an LCBO regional trainer and served as union steward for Local 163. A member of the Claybird Gun Club, Nancy served as secretary. In 2017, she was Season First in scoped rifle. Nancy served on the board of directors for Victim Services Middlesex London. At the London Regional Cancer Centre, she received treatment and served as a patient advisor to improve the patient experience. She also served as moderator for a cancer patient chat room. Special thanks to Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care Unit, CCAC Strathroy, and the London Regional Cancer Centre, for all their care. As Nancy wished, cremation has taken place. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. In memory of Nancy, donations may be made through Dennings Funeral Home, Strathroy, to the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre or Ovarian Cancer Canada;
