MARJORIE CAROLINE FARRELL (nee MASON)

Marjorie Caroline Farrell (née Mason) of Kincardine, died peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at the age of 88. Loving wife of Lynn Farrell for 69 years. Dear mother of Clayton (Brenda) Farrell, Connie (Mike) Murphy, and Eian (Jennifer) Farrell. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Shannon (Alec) Boyd, Shawn (Stefanie) Farrell, Ben (Ali) Farrell, Shay (Aron) Figueira, Cali Howard, Asha Howard, Morgan Farrell, and Brock Farrell; step-grandchildren, Jeremy (Nadia) Murphy and Melinda Murphy; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Boyd, Zach Boyd, Hailey Farrell, Owen Farrell, Paxton, Remi, Cassen, Ender and Kove Farrell, Brinn Williams, Brice and Bria Figueira. Fondly remembered by her brother, Hugh (Pat) Mason; and in-laws Bob (Gwenyth) Farrell, and Jim (Jane) Farrell; and many much-loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Bert and Ann (née Tully) Mason; brother, Ken Mason; sister, Ruby Walden; and in-laws, Lois Huffman, Ray Walden, Bill and Doreen Farrell, Lois and Murray McGill and Barbara Farrell. Marjorie was a proud member of the Millarton community, where the neighbours became life-long friends. She was known for her wonderful cooking abilities and hospitality. She was involved for many years with the Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered for the CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind). The Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band was near and dear to her heart. Happily, she was able to make it to Victoria Park every Saturday night this past summer. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Wednesday, Nov. 23, from 2-5 p.m., where the funeral to honour Marjorie’s life will be held Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, Huron Shores Hospice or the Anglican Church of the Messiah, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
