Ralph Gordon Black of Kincardine died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at Victoria Hospital, London. He was 62. Survived by his siblings, Beverly (Wayne Pollock), Richard (Sandy), Robert and Tom (Karen). Deeply missed by long-time friend, Caroline Goldspink. Loving uncle of Margaret Pollard, Sandi (Sergio Alteri), Steven Pollock (Jennifer Goodfellow), Andrew Pollock, Matthew, Shane (Jessica), Lindsay and Samantha (Joel). Also survived by nine great-nieces and -nephews and five great-great-niece and -nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Eileen Black; and his brother, Douglas Black. Ralph was a licensed automobile mechanic and worked at dealerships in the area for many years. He enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical and was an accomplished welder. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Kincardine rod and gun club at an early age. He was also a motorcycle rider and owned different bikes over the years. A Celebration of Ralph’s Life will be held at a later date.
