Albert “Lloyd” Lamont, formerly of Teeswater, died surrounded by family, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Lamont (née McMichael) (2006). Dear father of Brenda McAllister (Sandy) of Chesley and Murray Lamont (Irene Hemmers) of Kincardine Township. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Brett McAllister, Joel McAllister (Jodi Potter), Braden McAllister, Serena Harris (Ryley), Cole Lamont and Cameron Lamont; and great-granddaughter, Maeve McAllister. Fondly remembered by his siblings, Everett Lamont (Lenora), Joan Whytock, Francis Lamont, Larry Lamont (Carol) and Bryan Lamont (Norine); sister-in-law, Ethel McMichael; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Ron Lamont; sisters-in-law, Ann Lamont, Brenda Lamont and Phyllis McMichael; and brothers-in-law, Jim Whytock, Ron McMichael and Glenn McMichael. A private funeral service will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater, Saturday, Aug. 26Th, 2023. Interment, Culross-Teeswater Cemetery. The family offers their thanks and gratitude to the staff of Tiverton Park Manor and the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, for the care and compassion. Memorial donations to the Huron Shores Hospice, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
