Elliott “Morgan” Johnston of Kincardine died peacefully, Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, at the age of 96. His children, Jackie Bruce (Harry), Steven Johnston (Ruth), and Julia Brown (Bill), were by his side. Morgan will be remembered by his 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Doris (Taylor) Johnston; and his partner of 26 years, Doris (Bonnett) Bradley. Morgan was a proud Mason for 52 years. He farmed east of Ripley until retirement. He loved to fly airplanes, and played the harmonica, accordion and violin to entertain friends. He always liked a good laugh and had a sense of humour up until the end. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family is very grateful to the staff at Tiverton Park Manor and the Kincardine hospital for the care he received in the past year-and-a-half, and the days before he died. |
