Wonderful life story about Edith Smith
To the Editor:
RE: “Edith Smith of Ripley remembered for love of sewing, knitting, genealogy, and her pink jello”
Thank you Beverley Smith, for a lovely, informative life story of your mother.
She will be missed by all of your family and by her neighbours and the community.
Our sympathy and prayers to all of you.

Editor's Note: There was one more story sent in by Beverley Smith about her mother, Edith Smith: "We can hardly forget the time when we were quite young children, that mom was preparing for an important dinner, and whipping up some strawberry chiffon pie. But she didn’t have a beater, so dad, ever the clever mechanical genius, devised something to whip up the froth with an electric drill. Unfortunately, the drill thing sprayed pink chiffon all over the walls and ceiling – just before the guests were to arrive. Momsie was aghast. But we all survived it."
