Kincardine hospital takes backward step in fight against COVID-19
To the Editor:
Has anyone else noticed that in the past week or so, the Kincardine hospital (part of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre) has reactivated the paid parking barriers, after they were out of service since the spring?
In this day of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and as cases are spiking across the province and in Kincardine, does this not seem ludicrous (and others can take their pick of wording here, i.e. asinine, ridiculous, short-sighted, beyond comprehension), to make everyone who enters the parking lot push the same button to get a parking ticket?
If even one person with COVID-19 presses the button, the next 20 people entering the parking lot could be exposed.
You would think the hospital board would have thought this through.
