Unwelcome signs in Kincardine
To the Editor:

On the morning of Sunday, Nov. 29, I contacted councillor Gerry Glover, councillor Maureen Couture and mayor Anne Eadie about the signs that had appeared, seemingly overnight, in downtown Kincardine. I had attached this photo to the E-mail I had sent them.

I heard back within the hour from councillor Glover who had already taken action to alert municipal and OPP officials. Mayor Eadie also responded to me that day.

I was happy to see that within a very few hours, all signs had been removed, no doubt due to the quick involvement of civic workers.

I appreciate the stand taken by our elected officials and fellow citizens to call out the actions of people who only want to create dissent.  As a community, we will always be stronger together.
