(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – July 16, at 2:17 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a single-vehicle crash at the “S”-bend on Bruce County Road 23 (B-line) in Kincardine Township.
Officers arrived to find that a white Mazda 3 had been travelling southbound on the B-line when it left the roadway and struck the hydro pole. The pole broke and hydro wires were lying across both lanes of the B-line.
The driver, a Municipality of Kincardine woman, was assessed by Bruce County Paramedics for minor injuries received in the crash.
Kincardine firefighters extinguished a fire that started near the scene of the crash.
Hydro One staff attended to restore power to the area.
