Customers may choose to avoid downtown Kincardine year-round, says reader

To the Editor:
RE: “Kincardine to reconsider approval of Queen Street Promenade”

Do you not realize that a great many of your potential weekend, and every day, customers in downtown Kincardine, have mobility issues that limit the amount of walking and carrying that they can accomplish?

Unless you intend to provide electric scooters/golf carts, etc. for the public to use, you will lose a lot of people who would normally enjoy the shopping and events.

Plus, if you turn them away on weekends, they may choose to stay away all year-round.
