Meridian Credit Union celebrates 30th anniversary with fund-raising barbecue for food bank

The Meridian Credit Union in Kincardine celebrated its 30th anniversary Saturday, with a fund-raising barbecue for the Kincardine Food Bank.

People were invited to enjoy hamburgers and hot dogs, along with cake, popcorn, draws and prizes, to mark the occasion. All donations of cash and non-perishable food items went to the food bank.

There was also a display board, with photographs of employees and special events through the past three decades. The financial institution began as Hepcoe Credit Union and later merged to become Meridian Credit Union.
