Precautionary boil-water advisory lifted in Kincardine

The precautionary boil-water advisory, issued Monday (July 27), has been lifted for those residents affected by this week’s loss of water.

All residents of Inverhuron, including Inverhuron Park, and those residents from Lorne Beach to the south end of Kuehner Street, are being advised that the advisory has been lifted.

 

A press release from chief administrative officer Murray Clarke, issued Wednesday morning, states the laboratory has confirmed that no contamination entered the municipal water system from the watermain break; therefore, it is no longer necessary to boil water for potable use.
