Well, that's disappointing!
To the Editor:
Another weekend in Kincardine - more damage and theft at our waterfront.
Last year, I had painted Ladybug rocks – 15 - all stolen by the end of summer, along with other items, from the beautiful gardens along the boardwalk.
This year, over another COVID-19 winter, I again painted 17 rocks, weighing six to eight pounds each.
On the weekend, we had damage and theft from other gardens, and I have two rocks remaining.
I am not thinking it is any self-respecting local; we have too much pride and community spirit toward our boardwalk gardens. Also, there are many who come and are appreciative, and do enjoy strolling along.
These are just rocks, much like tho ones that occupy the brain space of those who steal. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, still SHAME on you!
Please come and enjoy our beautiful town, but please just take home good memories!
