RE: “"Golden Girls" of Kincardine are 75 years young”
Great to see that Instead of expecting to receive gifts for their birthday, these ladies put their efforts into celebrating with friends and organized the event to support such worthy causes.
We could all chip in!

Happy Birthday to the Golden Girls!
And what a wonderful way to celebrate not only for them but for the charities to which they donated!
My brother, Tom, drove up and is on the far right of the musical entertainment photo, playing his guitar.
Nice job of covering this event Kincardine Record

Huron Shores Hospice sends a heartfelt thank you to the “Golden Girls”: Linda Snyder, Mary Faubert, Marg Starr and MaryAnne Daly.
These four dynamic ladies celebrated their 75th birthdays in style, hosting a party and a fund-raiser for Huron Shores Hospice and the Kincardine Food Bank.
They made 75 wooden garden sunflowers, which they sold to party-goers and a total of $895 was raised for Huron Shores Hospice. In addition, guests were asked to bring donations for the hospice or the food bank, and an additional $1,370 was donated to Huron Shores Hospice for a total of $2,265.
Amazing!
Thank you, ladies, for coming up with this very unique and fun way of celebrating a milestone birthday. We appreciate all your efforts very much.
Thank you, also, to all their guests who provided donations and purchased sunflowers. We are very grateful for this overwhelming support of our community hospice.
Well done, ladies, and Happy 75th Birthday to all of you!
