Tiverton Agricultural Society hosts Rise 2 Fame contest

 

The Tiverton Agricultural Society hosted the Rise 2 Fame contest Sunday, July 26, in co-operation with the Western Fair’s Rise 2 Fame Talent Search.

 

The event showcased the area’s local talent, with 13 acts trying to qualify for the Rise 2 Fame competition slated for Sept 11-14 at the Western Fair in London.

 

Competing in the Junior category (ages six to 12), were Evan Graham, John Graham, Thales and Sappho Hunter, Emma Wright, Sara Wright, Devony House and Ashley DeMerchant.

 

Moving on to the Rise 2 Fame, Sunday, Sept. 13, at 3:30 p.m., are Devony House, Emma Wright and Thales and Sappho Hunter. Congratulations to everyone who took part for showcasing such great local talent!

 

Competing in the Youth category (ages 13-21), were Faith Waddell, Dyllan Mooser, Danica Wall, Serena Rutledge, Jenna Franklin and four members of the Cripple Creek Cloggers - Morgan Ritchie, Morgan Robertson, Olivia Convay and Danielle McBride.

 

Moving on to the Western Fair in London, Friday, Sept. 11, are Serena Rutledge and Danica Wall.

 

The Saturday, Sept. 12, performance will feature the Cripple Creek Cloggers, and Faith Waddell will perform Monday, Sept. 14. All performances will be at 7:30 p.m.
