Make tennis courts a multi-use facility, says Kincardine resident

Re: Outdoor Pickleball courts in Kincardine
I know there is much discussion circulating about supplying outdoor Pickleball courts in Kincardine. The past two years of recreation closures have made this option even more desirable.
The Kincardine recreation department has received many requests and it was determined that a presentation had to be made to Kincardine council. This was done, with a request to permanently line the existing municipal tennis courts.
This is obviously the most cost-effective and quickest way to ensure taxpayers have an option for outdoor play! Who can make the decision to make the tennis courts a multi-use facility? Seems like a fairly simple request.
For people who enjoy indoor play, the Davidson Centre will be re-opened, when safe to do so. Lots of research is going into building new courts, which would also be a wonderful addition to recreation, but is it the best use of taxpayers' money, when we have a facility that has ample time available for both tennis and Pickleball?
I know from years of family involvement that recreation, fund-raised and tax dollars are spread thinly across numerous requests for funding. So why not use what we already have?
