Guns ‘n’ Hoses hockey returns to Kincardine
The police are taking on the firefighters, as the Guns ‘n’ Hoses charity hockey game returns to the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, Sunday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m.
See the South Bruce OPP face off against Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services in what is said to be one of the highest levels of athleticism known across the land – all in support of Huron Shores Hospice.
Besides two 30-minute periods of incredible hockey by world-class players, the event will feature Chuck-the-Puck with an added twist, a display of first-responder vehicles parked in front of the Davidson Centre, and some other surprises along the way.
All you have to do is show up and donate what cash you can to Huron Shores Hospice, at the door, and you are in!
Want to participate in Chuck-the-Puck? Just bring in a non-perishable food item and you get a puck. There is also another way to get a free puck; more details will be available about that before the event!
South Bruce OPP inspector Krista Miller and Kincardine fire chief Brad Lemaich will be dropping the puck for the opening face-off.
It will be a great time to take in some fun hockey, and chat with local first-responders and community members as well!
Doors open Sunday, April 10, at 7 p.m., and game time is 7:30 p.m.
